Top Sea Isle City Bars & Live Music Venues

Ocean Drive & Sand Bar (The OD)
  • Address: 3915 Landis Ave, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243

  • Website: The Ocean Drive

  • Distance: About a 14-minute walk from 2nd Chance Sunrise

Known simply as The OD, this Sea Isle City institution defines Jersey Shore nightlife. For decades, it’s been the go-to destination for anyone searching “best bars in Sea Isle City” or “live music Sea Isle City NJ.”

The OD is famous for its legendary No Shower Happy Hours, Saturday Jam Sessions, and the ultimate Sunday Jam that packs the house all summer long. Expect cover charges on weekends and note that it’s cash only — but the energy, bands, and crowd make it worth every dollar.

Next door, the Sandbar & Grill offers a laid-back outdoor space with craft beers, cocktails, and a solid bar menu. Families are welcome until 9 PM on weekends before it switches to 21+.

Don’t miss Go Go Gadjet (our favorite) for high-energy performances or Secret Service for a nostalgic throwback —but bring hearing protection for Friday and Saturday nights—it gets loud!

The OD also hosts one of Sea Isle’s biggest events each June — the Eagles Autism Foundation fundraiser, where Jason Kelce and Eagles players guest bartend for charity.

Check out The OD’s website for the latest live music lineup and event schedule.

The Oar House Pub
  • Address: 27 41st St, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243

  • Website: The Oar House Pub

  • Distance: Approximately 11-minute walk

A year-round favorite, The Oar House Pub is one of the most popular Sea Isle City bars with live music. With multiple bars — alley, back, and upstairs — and casual food, it delivers a lively, no-frills vibe locals love.

Live acts such as Devlin Country Rock, Philly Rock and Soul, and Jim Bannach draw consistent crowds. The sound system here is among the best in town, often outperforming The OD.

Fridays are great for live bands, while Wednesdays feature Bob Kelly’s Hump Day Happy Hour, attracting a packed crowd dancing to oldies and 80s hits. Upstairs transforms into a DJ-driven college-style bar, while the downstairs area stays friendly and relaxed.

Check The Oar House’s live music calendar before you go.

The Point Tiki Bar
  • Address: 10 43rd St, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243

The only true tiki bar in Sea Isle City, The Point offers a tropical escape filled with palm decor, coastal cocktails, and live beachside music every day of the week. It’s the perfect destination for those searching “tiki bar Sea Isle City” or “live music near the beach.”

The outdoor stage hosts an impressive lineup of local talent and returning favorites, making it a must-visit for a sunset drink. Cabana rentals are available for a VIP experience — $65/hour Monday-Thursday and $100/hour Friday-Sunday.

Noise restrictions occasionally limit volume, but the ambiance, drinks, and breezy setting more than make up for it. It’s fun, upbeat, and quintessentially “shore.”

KIX

Thursday nights are reserved for Chatterband, a Sea Isle tradition. Mondays and Fridays bring karaoke (with both the best and worst singers in town), and Saturdays start with Lenny D’s Bloody Marys followed by big acts like The Sensational Soul Cruisers and The B-Street Band.

Sunday afternoons at the Pentagon Bar with Chatterband are a can’t-miss experience. And yes — they even host Saturday Mass and Girls Weekend PJ Parties.
