What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your reservation, we will make every reasonable effort to re-rent the property for the cancelled dates. If we are able to secure a replacement rental, we will refund the net rental proceeds received for the re-booked period, less a $250 cancellation fee.

If we are unable to re-rent the property for the cancelled dates, no refund will be issued.

Because rental payments are non-refundable, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance or trip interruption coverage to protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances.

Planning Your Stay

Are beach tags included?

Yes. Guests receive 8 complimentary Sea Isle City beach tags during their stay. The tags are attached to the provided beach chairs for convenience, making it easy to head to the beach without needing to purchase additional tags for adults.

Are linens and towels provided?

No. Like most NJ beach rentals Linens, bath towels, and beach towels are not provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own, or they may rent them through one of several local linen rental companies that service Sea Isle City.

After booking, we will be happy to provide recommendations for trusted local linen services that can deliver directly to the house before your arrival.

What do I need to bring?

2nd Chance Sunrise is a self-catering vacation rental, which means guests are responsible for bringing or purchasing their own personal and household supplies during their stay.

We provide a starter supply of essential items, but guests should plan to bring or purchase additional supplies as needed, including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, and other personal care items.

Linens, bath towels, and beach towels are also not provided. Guests may bring their own or rent them from one of several local linen services that deliver directly to the house.

Is there a BBQ Grill?

Yes. The home includes a propane Weber BBQ grill along with grilling utensils for guest use. We also keep spare propane tanks on hand so you won't have to worry about running out of fuel during your stay.

We simply ask that guests clean the grill after use and replace the cover once the grill has cooled. This helps keep the grill in great condition for everyone to enjoy.

Is there Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a phone?

Yes. The home features high-speed Comcast/Xfinity internet with a mesh Wi-Fi system that provides strong coverage throughout all three floors, as well as the pool and outdoor living areas.

All TVs include access to Xfinity cable programming through Roku devices, so you can enjoy live television, streaming services, and even catch the Phillies game after a day at the beach.

Your Wi-Fi network name and password will be provided in the Welcome Letter located inside the home.

 

Please note that the home does not have a landline telephone. Most guests find cellular service throughout Sea Isle City to be excellent.

Pool & Property Policies

Is the pool heated & what is the season?

Yes. 2nd Chance Sunrise features a private heated jetted pool for guests to enjoy during the pool season, which typically runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For guests visiting during the spring or fall, the pool may be opened earlier in May or kept open later into September for an additional fee, subject to weather conditions and pool service availability. Please contact us for current options and pricing.

 

Are pets allowed?

No. 2nd Chance Sunrise maintains a strict no-pets policy. This policy helps ensure a comfortable environment for guests with allergies and allows us to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for all visitors.

Are groups allowed?

No. 2nd Chance Sunrise is a family-oriented vacation rental. We rent to families and responsible adult guests seeking a relaxing beach vacation.

We do not rent to house parties or group events, including but not limited to fraternity or sorority gatherings, high school or college spring break groups, prom parties, senior week celebrations, graduation parties, or similar events. Reservations from non-family groups may be declined at the sole discretion of the owners.

Our goal is to maintain a peaceful environment for our guests, neighbors, and the surrounding community.

 

What are the standard check-in and check-out times? 

Standard check-in begins at 1:30 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM.

 If you anticipate arriving later in the day, no problem—self-check-in instructions and access information will be provided prior to your arrival.

Are there any cleaning fees or additional charges?

No. Unlike many vacation rentals, we do not charge a separate cleaning fee in addition to our weekly rental rate. Our goal is to keep pricing straightforward and transparent.

Weekly pool service is also included during the summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) to ensure the pool remains clean and ready for your enjoyment throughout your stay.

Pool openings before Memorial Day and extended pool service after Labor Day may be available for an additional fee, as these dates fall outside of our regular seasonal pool service contract.​​​​​​​​
