City Council Meeting: Start your day with a glimpse into local governance at the City Council Meeting, commencing at 9 a.m. on the third floor of City Hall. Gain insights into community initiatives and participate in discussions shaping the city's future.
Free Document Shredding: From 9 a.m. to 12 noon, head to the Community Lodge parking lot for free document shredding services. Safely dispose of sensitive documents while contributing to eco-friendly practices.
Bicycle Auction: For biking enthusiasts, don't miss the Bicycle Auction starting at 10:15 a.m. in the Community Lodge parking lot. Register beforehand to bid on a variety of bicycles. Cash or checks will be accepted, and all bicycles will be sold "as is." Get ready for great deals on wheels!
Meet & Greet: Engage with city officials, county representatives, and local civic groups during the Meet & Greet session from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Community Lodge. Enjoy face painting and free giveaways for the kids, making it a fun-filled experience for the whole family.
Awards Ceremony: Join Mayor Desiderio at 11:30 a.m. in the Community Lodge for the Awards Ceremony. Witness the presentation of the annual "Do the Right Thing" awards, honor the Community Partnership Award recipient from First Bank of Sea Isle City, and celebrate the winners of the 2024 Beach Tag Art Contest.
Historical Plaque Unveiling Ceremonies: Experience history come to life with the unveiling of new bronze plaques for "Haffert’s Folly" and the Ludlam Beach Lighthouse. Following the Awards Ceremony, these ceremonies will add a touch of heritage and nostalgia to the day's celebrations.
