The Countdown Begins

Mark your calendars because Presidents Day weekend, February 16th to 19th, is right around the corner, and Sea Isle City is buzzing with anticipation. With an estimated 20,000 to 25,000 visitors expected to descend upon our shores, the weekend promises to be one for the books!

A Cause Worth Plunging For

Sure, the Polar Bear Plunge is iconic and somewhat discontinued (officially), but there's more to this weekend than just icy dips and adrenaline rushes. This year, we're rallying for a cause close to our hearts—the Mike's Seafood Run-Walk for Autism. Founded 16 years ago by the incredible Monichetti family, this event has raised over $1 million for autism-related causes. So, while you're out there pondering about taking the plunge, know that you're also making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities. If you haven't signed up here is a link to register. Deadline is 2/16/24 by 3pm (EST).

Mayor's Orders: Expect a Summer Weekend in February

Mayor Leonard Desiderio isn't holding back his excitement, and neither should you! He's predicting a summer vibe in the midst of winter as Sea Isle City gears up for an epic weekend of festivities. From bustling restaurants to lively bars and charming retail shops, the entire town is coming alive to welcome you with open arms.

Reservations Required: Book Your Spot Now!

If you're planning on dining out during the weekend (and let's be real, who isn't?), you better act fast! Mayor Desiderio has already tipped us off that reservations are filling up faster than you can say "Polar Bear Plunge." So, don't wait until the last minute—secure your spot now and get ready to indulge in some mouth-watering delights.

Entertainment Galore

But wait, there's more! The Ocean Drive and O'Donnell's are gearing up to host a lineup of entertainment that will have you dancing the night away. From live music performances to special deals and blowout sales, there's something for everyone to enjoy. And let's not forget about the Juliano Brothers—they'll be rocking out under a tent at O'Donnell's on Sunday, so be sure to snag your tickets early!

Polar Bear Plunge: A New Era

While the traditional Polar Bear Plunge may have taken a hiatus due to the pandemic and new city policies, Sea Isle City hasn't missed a beat. With the Mike's Seafood Run-Walk for Autism taking center stage, this weekend has evolved into something even more extraordinary—a celebration of community, compassion, and camaraderie.
